    Just watched Star Wars

Episode 4 (again), made me reminisce about X-Wing Alliance, X-Wing vs Tie Fighter, Tie Fighter, and right back to X-Wing. Oh the trench run...

So, back to the point of this thread!
I'm in need of a joystick so I can crack out X-Wing Alliance again and get back into space. I'm currently eyeing up the Saitek Cyborg EVO V2, I had an old Saitek joystick and it was pretty great, are they still the quality they used to be? Or is there anything else people would recommend up to a reasonable price (£50 tops for something fancy with a better throttle).

Second question to any joystick using gamers out there; what other space flight games would you recommend? I'm not really into 'normal' flying games/sims, but anything spacey that would put a joystick to good use would be great.

Cheers guys, help me burn my cash wisely.

i have 2 sets of logitech joysticks and still looking for a use for them xD, so if any1 can recommend some decent games to be played with joysticks, please post .
Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK this is the stick i got from pcworld at £10 a few years back. Might try and dig out those games to xD, still got some but im lacking a floppy drive .
I think saitek are still good, had a saitek cyborg 2000 (i think) and it was great, quality and price , still look good so i guess they still great/

Well if you haven't got X-Wing Alliance yet Hicks I'd recommend it! Should be £5 somewhere given its age. PCWorld is a good plan actually, even if I don't buy from there they should have a few out on display I can get my grubby mitts on. See if the new Saitek's feel as sturdy as the old ones.

    Re: Just watched Star Wars

Woop, I have my new Saitek Evo sitting on my desk at work - can't do anything with it but I do like the glowing bits...

Going to be a hard nights gaming I think!
