Depends.
I have bought some games off steam.
Most of the time however I`ll get the games from tescos
Wherever's cheapest. Generally online but Morrisons has come out on top on a couple of occasions recently. I try to avoid downloading as I like boxes, manuals and whatnot.
Same here, I use www.find-games.co.uk to find the cheapest online retailer and buy from there.![]()
Bought a few off Steam
Other than that our local independant as they have a good selection of pre owned as well as the latest on console and also PC.
I occasionally go to Game as they seem to be cheap with certain titles. Picked up Eye of the North last week from there for £15.
Now and again I get them from Play
I usually buy off Steam.
Mostly the weekend reduced stuff, although sometimes, they get full price out of me.
If nothing else, it saves transport/delivery costs.
Plus, I don't have to look after the media, which is something I'm terrible at.
uk.gamestracker.com is another good price comparison place. Other than that I usually find play.com are fairly competitive or if I'm shopping locally, gamestation aren't bad for used titles.
Scan - as I don't have to go very far to buy them![]()

Usually online from Amazon/Play/Gameplay and Steam sometimes too.
But if im in town and see something, or just really dont want to bother waiting for delivery ill just go into town and get it.
Pre-orders usually always online as can hopefully get it a day early![]()
