Dungeon Keeper 2 - PC

Hey, me and my m8 are playing DK2 atm, but it keeps ... doing something, it appears to be a network fail or auto save, its a screen with our names and progress bars, they both get to the top and then it just pauses until we Esc out of it, we have the latest patch and are both on Windows 2k pro SP4.

we have only tried using TCP/IP not IPX, that was the only other thing i could think of, any one had this bug ? or any ideas?

Btw it happens after about 30-40mins of play on both attempts, and both systems were fine after, looked in game settings etc and couldnt see any thing

dk2's pretty old now. patched up to the latest version, i assume?
