i really hope they add co-op to this game as id think it would make it even better. Crysis could use the tactics of 2 people, 1 goes cloaked while the other keeps the attention, perfect.

Re: Crysis Warhead - some details!

"Begins when the original game's Nomad character parts ways with Warhead's new hero, Psycho, and follows him all the way until the two are to reunite again on board the aircraft carrier."

don't they meet here and there? on the recovery & assault mission.

they reunite before the aircraft carrier, its actually around the frozen mission after you get out of the ship u find him and his suit is damaged and so you need to take him to fires etc on the way.

Betterily optimized to run faster than the original game on the same hardware
Nice. You know and trust that they know what they are doing, when it's betterily.

Co-op would be soooooo good! And if it is more optimised to run well on med spec systems it will be a winner.

ahh i think that's actually Prophet you help on the frozen mission, but then you do meet Psycho on the deck of the carrier.

but you also meet Psycho on the recovery mission when you rescue a female hostage and at the start, and during the assault mission in the harbour. (where he snipes to cover you).

lol, for some reason i thought it said prophet, my bad it is actually on the carrier then. If its better optimised than thats even better because i can play it ok on high with my card. Really dont get why people said crysis was bad, i loved it as the story was good(imo) and the free roaming was fun+ graphics =win for me, cod4 was boring for me and nothing special so i guess its just opinions at the end of the day. Got cod4 for £25 its around 30-35 instore and yet crysis is way less, much better value imo .

Perhaps they will do a vast improvement though on the performance as online on bit matches wasnt very fun and more people would play. Maybe they will optimised crossfire better since ati is now back ontop with the price vs performance.

Re: Crysis Warhead - some details!

    agreed

i think one of the main things people were always (and still) complaining about the performance of it, but if they can optimise it more, then that would be good.

the graphics and free roaming gave it alot of immersion, story was good, but went funny/short towards the end, but i think that's all part of the plan to add to it later (with Warhead, and then maybe Crysis 2 - Prophet seemed to had run off back to take on aliens, I guess nomad will follow, or maybe you'll be able play Prophet?)

Re: Crysis Warhead - some details!

I loved Crysis. I didn't like the part where I was flying through the alien base, but the first two thirds, and then the last part, I really loved. The graphics are just amazing too. I can't wait for this new one. I hope they have learned from the feedback of the first one. I bet they have.

I read today in PC Zone that they tested on an e6750, 2 gigs RAM, and a 8800GT and it ran perfectly!

is this going to be multiplayer or a continuation of the single player game where it left off?
