Only kidding.. go ahead if you want to spend your time kicking a virtual ball around a virtual field... I can't quite see the point of it when I have a perfectly decent football close to hand, but I think that some of you must have some reasons to enjoy it.... maybe.
So u got 11 guys and fullsize football pitch and a ref at hand also? With another team to play against?

    thought not

Erm... 11 guys? you need 22 for a 11 a side match and ref...

And yes, if I so wish I can normally find that many kicking a ball around.. if only that few, but not the fullsize football pitch.

They tire me out too much... I am like.. 14...

I own both. I play them both the same amount. I like both. Does that mean the case is closed as a draw? Nah, of course not, as it's only what I like, it doesn't mean it applies to everyone. If only others could see that...

people argue over games relative merits all the time, the fact that people think other people are wrong is the basis for any sort of debate on this, it'd be even more boring if people turnt into liberal drips who reduced their opinions simply to their own subjectivity.
Right, so rather than giving your own opinon, in a constructive manner, and listening to the other side of the argument, what you should supposedly do is say things like...
Anyone who's been a fan of Pro Evo over the years for these very reasons and yet claims Pro Evo 2008 is superior to FIFA 08 is a liar or a retard.
People have different opinions to you. Doesn't mean they're liars, as they're saying what they believe. And as for the other term, come on, a bit unnecessary, no?
Subjective experiance is important, afterall we don't tell someone who likes ice cream more than steak they are actually wrong but if they claimed they liked steak more than ice cream because of it's coolness, creamy texture and sweetness we'd think them seriously mental.
But I don't think that's what's happens in these types of threads. People are comparing like-for-like things, not totally different ones. So, to use one of your examples, it's like comparing two ice creams. I could like one type, someone else another. Doesn't mean either of our ice creams are better, just means we have different tastes.

there is no comparison between fifa and pro evo, fifa wins hands down but there will always be the loyal following to pro evo for some strange reason.....

Hmm, so your not a fanboy then

Piont is in the previous years pro evo was fun and playable where as fifa was slow and dull. It's only in the last year it's been any good, just when pro evo had a bad year. Come october we should get 2 good games and the competition should make it better for both games in the long run.

not really I've played Pro Evo since the ISS days in mid 90's, not as part of some 'cult' lol. nothing beats it on a 1v1 against another good player

I've yet to see anyone give a reason why they prefer Pro Evo beyond outdated claims that it is less arcadey than FIFA.

I do wonder if Wzix has actually played FIFA or UEFA Euro 08. Yes Pro Evo used to be the superior game and people who played FIFA were simpletons wanting licenses and easy goals over gameplay and realism but all that changed with Pro Evo 2008 and FIFA 08.

Also what the **** is this **** about emo?

have you played FIFA 08 yet? What did you make of Pro Evo 2008, don't you think it's a massive let down, something that should have been obvious the moment you saw the tacktastic Myspace and Zoo (or was it Nuts??) adverts?

If Konami don't have to pay for the licenses they should at least put the time and money into the actual gameplay and they certainly don't need such horrific adverts to make more money of their customers.
