    Cool Doom WAD Files

I'm not sure why he needs them or quite what they are (except some sort of configuration file for map making, mods e.t.c.) but here's the message anyway:

Do you know where I can get any of the following WAD files:-

    Doom I (Retail)
    Doom II
    Ultimate Doom
    Final Doom: TNT Evilution
    Final Doom: Plutonia Experiment

Seeing as the WAD files are part of the copyrighted products - its like asking for the .iso of the CD.

short answer is not on here.

Its most likely they'd want it for one of the pocket PC ports of the game ( which require you to have the orig wad files. )

I suggest you scour ebay for a copy.

    ebay?

think you'll find ID software recently released "doom collector's edition", a £10 cd containing all the doom games (i.e. all the WADs you mention). it's still in high street stores, or play.com http://play.com/play247.asp?page=tit...C&title=178869

oh, and in the last 3 years, all of the DOOM games have landed on Steam - so you can get the WAD files legally by buying them on steam for a few quid

There are a load of 3rd party ones made on there which you can use with the game, or the Doom3 mod to load the maps

Original ones you need to buy the games for, just get the collectors edition cd or get them from steam
