I've not played it but it seems to have poor reception from the gaming websites- HERE
Cavalier-X: Biostar TP45-HP ¦ E4600@3.1ghz - Xigmatek Red Scorpion (OCZ Freeze) ¦ OCZ ReaperX 2x2gb (792mhz @ 4-4-4--12) ¦ Xigmatek NRP-MC651 ¦
Palit 8800gt ¦ X-fi Fatal1ty Gamer ¦ Coolermaster Cavalier 3 (Silver/Windowed) ¦
Poseidon Magma: MSI P45 Zilent ¦ E6300@3.0ghz - Coolermaster Hyper 212 (MX-2) ¦ Corsair 2x2gb (880mhz @ 5-5-5-15) ¦ Corsair HX450w ¦
xfx 9600gt Alphadog edition (780/1950/1000) ¦ X-fi Gamer ¦ Gigabyte Poseiden ¦
olympics games always get poor receptions. If you want a good button masher, rotater, waggler then it wil be right up your street. Its considerably better than mario and sonic at the olympics but will sell about 5% of that![]()
got it on ps3. Is good fun tbh. Graphics are good. Better with m8s though
Rig: Amd 64 3700+ San Diego | Abit AT8 | 4x512 Corsair XMS3200C2PRO | PowerColour X850XTPE / Arctic Cooled | Samsung Spinpoint 250Gig | Enermax NoiseTake 485w | Arctic Freezer 64 Pro | Coolermaster Wavemaster Silver | Dell 2405FPW | Logitech G5 / Everglide Destrukt Monstermat |
So tell me: what do you do on it? Tell girls that some of them are too ugly and that some of them can't sing? Make CGI fireworks?
Of course the graphics are good... they had a live warmup a week or so back.
I think that will determine just how many of them DON'T sell as much as any other factor.
is this out on the pc?
^ im pretty sure it was on the 31st of july, shame theres no demo cos i want to try it out![]()
It's out on PC too yes - see Steam. It's apparently utter rubbish according to the reviews, but it'll sell well regardless.
Some of the reviews seem to have been a bit harsh on this effort.
(Imho there's a fair review here: http://www.itreviews.co.uk/games/g476.htm - as other posters have commented, it's a fun enough game with friends, just that some of the events are better than others...)
I think "Olympic Gold" on the Sega Megadrive was the peak of this genre, and probably where it should have died. But that's just me, I can't really criticise diversity in the PC gaming market!
