    Stalker Clear Skys problems

Anyone else finding this buggy as hell, started off ok a few crashes but I got to the cordon, I am now thinking that was fluke as its crashing literally every few mins now, Sometimes ill get the bug report screen but most of the time it just crashes to desktop

... Fun aint it! You using the latest patch (1.5.04)?

I had some crashes including a corrupt quick save file (which was a real pain and had to loose a good hours stalk-ing). Not to put a downer on it but in my hands Cordon was ok, things got worse from a stability perspective when I went into the Garbage Apart from making sure you're on the latest patch I don't know what else to suggest.

I keep one eye on Hexus and another on the GSC Stalker forum. They have some lua script packs there that fix the common crashes, I had some success with them. I would hit you up the link but my company blocks GSC's forums, apparently they're too extreme for my sensitive eyes(!)

    Re: Stalker Clear Skys problems

I played it yesterday on a friends PC. It had the 1.5.04 patch and I played it for about 2 hours straight and it was perfect =) He has a very good PC though. I've no doubt it was nasty before the patches though, but he only got it yesterday so just installed the latest patch right after installing the game.

The crazy thing is that Shadow of Chernobyl suffered exactly the same problems at launch. Why didn't they learn?
