    Re: GTR EVO thread

    The Green Hell.
I haven't played it much since my PC desk is a mess and I cba moving stuff for wheel. Great stuff tho, more of the same if you like the GTR/Race series. After playing GT5P it was a bit of a shock coming back to this; it just feels so much better.

Slightly off-topic: It's annoying that the console SimBin title is only coming to the 360, which doesn't even support the G25 wheel. A game with GT graphics and GTR handling would be awesome.

I use a 360 controller, you don't need to pay for a wheel.

There's also some great modding possibilitys too, there's not much now but it's only been out for a short time.
My favorite so far is the Top Gear test track

I got this when it was released, great game

Have you tried racing the Koenigsegg (800bhp one, without the rear wing), that thing is absolute hell to drive. I actually took off in that going round the Nurburgring!

I haven't done any racing online yet, might have to give that a go.

It's also worth pionting out that many of the race 07 skins will work with GTR evolution.

Here's one for top gear fans, and because it's only a skin works online too.

The track is the Top Gear test track too

I'll be around tonight to play.

Just got the Top Gear track installed, it's just like an airfield with a couple lines painted on, eventually found my way around the track though!

Yes, i've been doing alright too, a couple of 3rd and 2nds in the touring cars and F3000.

GTR2 was a pain though, tried it many moons ago and they give you far too many options to fiddle with that would mean you never got it right.
But the race game and this have been perfectly fine with the 360 pad.
