    SilverFall. New game

Titan Quest just died on me. To many restarts after changing what class me want. Exactly the same game over and over.

I walked into a Game Store today and saw a Silverfall game on the shelf. It looked like an add-on pack but it is a stand alone game. "Original game not required" on the box.

I have heard of Silverfall before but took absolutley no notice at all.
I searched this forum and have not found much. Just a review. I saw a small video online and it looked really pretty. The idea of no class and the science and nature thing appeals to me.

    I have questions.
Is this a good oponent to Titan Quest?

And as I am considering playing through the original first, does the new Silverfall game add the new classes to the original Silverfall seeing as it is a stand-alone title.

I will try and search for answers with google but I really value your opion on this.

Never played it but I've read reviews and it sounds OK/Average/Good. Sounds a lot like Dungeon Siege.

    You might like this review:

Only takes a couple of minutes to read and they cover most things and give a pretty accurate sounding review of it.

I think you would probably like it. I am a huge fan of NWN2 though, so if you don't own that, I would point you towards that first of all. The thing with NWN2 is, the official campaign is 'OK', but people forget that the whole point of it... is that you can download campaigns made by other people, and some of them are really great! And it means that the game is enormous because there are so many of these player made campaigns. And even if you just pick the top few best campaigns, they are still at least enough to make NWN2 a worthwhile purchase.

So I would always suggest that first.

    Re: SilverFall. New game

I really liked it, there is a HEXUS Gaming review of it if you take a look that way.

I havn't played the new one but the origional was pretty cool. Kinda looked like cell shaded graphics but apparently it isn't. The whole nature and technology thing is really neat, you can try and balance it out or go completely one way. Thing is though if you go completely one way it stops you from being able to get certain skills from the opposite side.

Best way to describe it is a Steampunk version of Diablo / Titan Quest.
