It won't need FSAA once it goes onto the XBox because I presume it'll process it at its native resolution, so the TV'll do the 'FSAA'.
The screens don't look bad for an XBox but I think I'd stick with the PC version

really, if you're a publisher, would you rather release a game that'll get warezed by all & sundry & have to answer hours of agonising tech support phone calls from the pcworld customers who DO buy it - or tap into the larger, support-free console market?
It doesnt matter if ID make a profit on D3, the money they rake off lisencing the engine to other companies is more than enough - tis why carmack is rolling in it.

well exactly - but the doom 3 engine is expensive to license. so is a licensee gonna want to risk getting burnt making a pc game, or play it safe with a console game?
prefer to play a lot of pc games on the xbox, especailly on a large tv screen
by putting doom on the xbox id will rake even more in as the console market is far lager than that of the pc. Not sure how just the xbox market compares though. Also, 4 guys in the same room playing doom 4 way will be sweet
except the whole point of Doom is suspense - and on Xbox you'll be able to see each others screens..........great
