NES/SNES Games

I have a hankering for playing some old NES/SNES games, namely Megaman series of games. I no longer have a NES or SNES, let alone the games in question.

Does the DS/Wii have emulators for these games? I know I played SMB on the Wii but I don't want to shell out £170 to play a 1989 game!

Wii is limited to the games that they have online for download (purchased with Wii Points)

I don't know if they have that specific game on there though. Hard as hell to play snes games with the gamecube controller anyway you deffo need to get the classic game controller.

megaman 9 is a pretty much direct sequel to megaman 2, available for all current-gen consoles

mmm...something to look into more...brings back memories of taking 6 months to finishmegaman and then w week for megaman 2.

If you have a PS2 or a Wii, you're in luck: the Mega Man Anniversary Collection has Mega Man 1-8, and the Mega Man X Collection has MMX 1-7. The GameCube versions of these would work on the Wii, as well. Also, I think Mega Man 1 and 2 are on the Wii's Virtual Console now, too.
