If I had to use a mobile broadband dongle for Internet, would it work if I just plugged it into the USB port of a PS3 or XBox?
How would it be for gaming? Thoughts?

It doesn't work on the PS3 or 360. Just doesn't have the drivers for it and can't be installed. You could wirelessly bridge the connection from a 360 or PS3 to the PC and do it that way but it can be a bit of a challenge setting it all up.
They do work for online gaming though. I used mine for LOTRO and the ping was fine.
Hmm I thought as much. I don't mind a challenge.

Thanks Funkstar. I find it odd that 3 are the only people that give you discount if you have like a mobile with them. Everyone else its a separate service. Virgin offer 3 months free on an 18 month contract, then the normal 15 there after.
