Need any pc games suggestion for my children, Thanks
On the Free to play route I would recommend:
- Fortnite
- Apex Legends
- Roblox
On the paid side I would recommend:
- Minecraft
- Planet Zoo
- Terraria
- Any of the Lego games
How old are they? Starcraft II is free to play without alluring microtransactions and in my opinion teaches a lot of vital skills like resource management and prioritising. It also allows them to learn at their on pace since there are no teammates to hold them to any specific standard in 1v1s. You can also playing with then in 2v2s, 3v3s or 4v4s.
Runs on almost any computer too, win-win-win imo.
Plants vs zombies
PUBG
GTA V (the most famous free run)
Rocket League! Considering its for children
depending how old your kids are - for younger kids search on Steam Sega genesis classics - it comes with heaps of games that'll keep them busy.
for kids above 9+ Fornite & Apex are very popular for boys, you just need to control How much time they'll spend on them.
Rayman series is great fun - Ubisoft store have a sale now and extra 20% off with code: UBIFORWARD
Spyro and Crash Bandicoot - steam
On Microsoft great series: Ori and the Blind Forest, Ori and the Will of the Wisps
I know it's a bit long in the tooth, but the Curse of Monkey Island is puzzle solving fun for just about any age. Less than £6 on Steam.
Also Civilization is good for teaching older kids a bit of history and great fun too.
I put a vote in for Ori and the Blind Forest and the sequel Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
While a frustrating platformer for some (my wife who hasn't played video games other than Badger Trails in primary school) it's full of lovely visuals and a cute storyline.
How old are they?
Rocket League or something from LEGO.
Risk of Rain 2 finally came out of early access recently. Fantastic game if you like rogue-likes. It translates the feel of the first one into 3D very nicely, the buffs add a lot of variability and the characters offer different play-styles to keep things interesting.
If your into mmo's certainly check out final fantasy 14 they just extended the free trial to heavensward and level 60.
Millennium (14-09-2020)
Depends on the PC spec. I doubt you'll be able to run recent games smoothly on a old computer.
Battle block theatre (steam) offers a fun single and multiplayer experience that you could also get involved with too! Although, it should come with a warning that your friends and family may turn on you... or perhaps you will turn on them?!
Another similar game would be Overcooked.
Fortnite most common for kids
A lot of parents who've bought pcs from me always mention roblox so it seems very popular with the children - I've installed it on a few pcs and that it has A LOT of sandbox customisability with tons of different games/modes etc.
