    "Non Traditional" "Family" Wii games...?

Mmkay, so finally, we have a Wii...And the games we have are.....well, Wii sports, Wii play and Super Smash Bros.

What else can I get? It'll be for me, my 8 yr old brother, my slightly-older-but-still-a-teenager brother, me and possibly my parents if I can convince them to join in..

So far, us 3 brothers have been finding Super Smash Bros. a blast, I seem to enjoy it most

So I wanted to get a few games for Christmas, maybe one specially for my lil' bro, and one for the whole family.

    Any Suggestions?

My brother IS 8 years old, however feel free to suggest games that are rated '12'. I'll take a look at them, first see whether I think he'd be okay to play it, then ask the parents about what they think, and if they feel its okay for him to play it, I'll grab it.

EDIT: Oh, and by 'non traditional' I mean not games such as "Fun for All the Family" specially marketed games etc.

If you are looking for simple, then you can pick up bomberman blast on Wii Ware. You can have up to 8 players locally, 4 wiimotes and 4 gamecube controllers. The concept is pretty simple and you can tailor which powerups appear so as not to confuse the hell out of everyone.

its only £7 so isnt the end of the world really. But its a good "all-ait-round-together" type game. Will come back with more when I think of some...

I'll look into that, but what about actual Wii games, I haven't hooked up my Wii to the 'net yet [and I dont plan to, as of current plans], so are there any other game suggestions going?

I recommend you get your Wii online as bomberman with real people whenever you want is awesome.

However if you have lots of guys to play then Mario Kart is good offline but also great online.

    Super Mario Galaxy.

Only GTA4 can challenge it's position as best game so far this generation.

    Zelda.

    Metroid.

    All the usual classics.

8 year old will love that stuff mate. Mario is for all ages.

For multiplayer all the usual Mario party, Wario Ware, blah.

    Wicked, I forgot about Warioware!

What about Bloom Box. Anyone got it?

Hows the multiplayer on that? I'm after strong local multiplayer games. Will look at Mario party, and WarioWare aswell...

    Merci!
