Wireless Mouse & Keyboard For Gaming
Thinking about getting a new mouse and keyboard and would like to go wireless so i can write on my desk when i'm not using the pc as at the moment the keyboard get in the way :(
Does wireless though effect your playing as i read somewhere that it take slonger for the signal to get to the pc so by the time you've shoot something its moved. I also saw that all the Logitech ones designed for gaming are wired.
What do you reckon. Is wireless something that can effect your gaming.
Re: Wireless Mouse & Keyboard For Gaming
Yes, going wireless can affect your gaming very slightly. All the big gaming mice and keyboards are cabled. For gaming I recommend the Razer Lachesis or the Logitech G9. They are just awesome for gaming. Especially if you play online multiplayer shooting games.
Re: Wireless Mouse & Keyboard For Gaming
Its not very fun if your batteries run out when you are mid game :P I still use cabled for that reason.
Re: Wireless Mouse & Keyboard For Gaming
For keyboards, I don't think so.
For mice, definitely, especially if it's FPS.
Re: Wireless Mouse & Keyboard For Gaming
I was thinking of getting the Logitech G15 and the G9 or G5
Not sure if the G9 is worth the extra money over the G5
Re: Wireless Mouse & Keyboard For Gaming
I've got the G5, love it :)
The G9 IMO looks too chunky for me.
Re: Wireless Mouse & Keyboard For Gaming
i don't understand the reason for wireless keyboards when your keyboard doesn't need to be moved..
i game with a mx1000 which uses the "2.4ghz fast rf" radio which is so responsive i can't tell the difference between wired and wireless with it.
other models which use the same radio i believe is the mx revolution and mx1100

what about people who have their PCs next to their telly and want to use a mouse and keyboard at their armchair?
