Unhappy FM09 transfer in vista = fail

So I installed FM09 in Vista, and saved my game when I was playing it in xp for a short while, but now the folder doesnt work, keeps coming back with an error message on the database, as i used a custom database. Does anyone know any work around?

All that hard work and time spent gone lost all my player and staff that i built up too *cries*

    comes with this:

"the database folder which this game was created could not be found, the game is now using the default database folder."
