Re: Ever wanted to go to a LAN?

I would (and I think did) offer you a lift as I'm very nearby, but as mentioned in the other thread, it's higly unlikely I'll be able to go. If I do, I won't know until the week beforehand (ain't work great ), so if you can do it last minute, then I can take you. Far from ideal I know.

However, you can post at GameOn forums and request a lift. It's a little bit of a detour, but anyone coming from Reading, Newbury or maybe even Oxford might be willing to take you.

Re: Ever wanted to go to a LAN?

I think it'd be a bit too much trouble hauling my PC (which weighs around 23 kilograms without the monitor...solid steel case FTW!) across the ocean would be quite a hassle...and expensive. I guess I'll have to pass.

    Oh, wait...

Come on guys, we'll usually be pushing for more people to come along to each one

Re lifts and such, like Gerrard said you can always ask in the GameOn forums (the link goes straight to the Lifts forum).
