Has anybody else been invited to the beta for this?
It is absolutly amazing, quake 3 in a web browser, for free, anytime, anywhere!

If you are interested in gaining access to the beta, you can sign up on the site and you might get lucky like i did!

I wish I could post some screen shots or something but im really not allowed - however there is a video on the site that shows gameplay and some screens of the backend stats etc

They said if the quake 3 thing is sucessful then they may do the same for Wolfenstein:Enemy territory which had more players than quake 3 anyway.

ah lol, people are still waiting for invites! i've been in the beta for this since mid august, haven't really played it enough but it does look promising.

anyone in the beta already go to http://beta.quakelive.com/beta/add/ and you can send out your own personal invites, i have 10 spares going atm if anyone is inerested.

I don't think you'll get invites straight away, quite sure they periodically add some.

hmm, after sending out only 4 invites it's now gone and told me i've got none left! where's the other six gone

sorry to anyone that was expecting one. i have a mate with an account that i'm meeting later on today and he'll probably have some spare invites so anybody still waiting might be in luck.
