People, you have to check out this new game Painkiller! It's an fps and is due out in a few days, it looks amazing, have a go at the demo. The graphics look really good, the way you can interact with things works really well and its scary as hell. After this comes out it'll be interesting to see what extra hl2 and doom3 can offer.
HL2 and Doom3 should have a lot over Painkiller, but I dont think it's really fair to compare them. Painkiller is basically a Serious Sam type game, throw loadsa enamies at you and watch as you blast them all away. Geat fun :d
As long as you dont expect too much, and dont expect untra realistic gameplay you'll love it
Its a very fun game to play. Just get in there and blast your way through
Hmm, we had another thread about this recently. IMHO the demo bored me, I need more thinking to be done in a game. Yes the graphics were ok, but is that all you do throughout the game? <insert yawn smiley here>
