    Fallout3 Add-on Pack out now.

Fallout 3 Operation Anchorage is available to download now. I have restarted Fallout 3 and it will be a while before I get to explore it all and am ready for this add on.

I have yet to set up a gamer tag. So, anyone played this yet? Does the level cap go above 20 yet?

    Eurogamer gave it 5/10...

I love Fallout 3. I love it to an almost indecent extent. It was far and away my game of 2008, and doesn't look like being knocked out of my personal top spot for a good while yet. But when you sift out its role-play, the ammo-box inspection and the exploration and draft in a fleet of health and ammo regeneration points to compensate... well, affairs just feel shallow and somewhat naked. Hopefully a lesson has been learnt at Bethesda towers. Business as usual next time please.

It's pointless if the level cap isn't increased until the March DLC.

I wouldn't say pointless - Fallout 3 isn't about grinding for the next level at all

I'll be picking this up soon; maybe when my tax return comes in. I'm also eagerly awaiting the next two DLCs.

It says there are new perks. As long as you gain these perks through questing and not leveling up then that would be good

Looks like they've turned it into an FPS.
When I eventually complete Fallout to a degree I'm happy with, I'll probably get this.
As for the new perks, I'm more curious as to whether you can use them in the main game or just in the simulation.....

Re: Fallout3 Add-on Pack out now.

Got this yesterday and finished it in around 3 1/2 hours. Would have liked a little more for the money, it's not like I was powering through it either, I'm quite slow at these games, my save game for Fallout 3 is over 70 hours now.

Never noticed any new perks, but then I'm already level 20 so I guess you can only get them when you level up.

Looking forward to the next 2 instalments Just hope the 3rd one with the level cap raise will be a little longer.

    Destuctoid give it 8/10

If you can sweet-talk the Quartermaster, he'll also supply you with one of the expansion's exclusive toys, a classic Fallout weapon I greatly missed in this latest installment: the Gauss Rifle. It's slow as hell to reload, but does more damage than just about every other weapon in the game and will knock nearly any enemy to the ground, allowing for some really fun execution kills while they try to scramble to their feet.
