    games with hamachi

    Hi

I want to play games (fifa 09) with a mate online, but just wondering does he has to have the game on his system to play or can he run from mine? cos i read on another site that hamachi allows online play without the need for both players to have the game.

    thanks in advance

ps: if anyone has any good guides would appreciate if if you posted any, thanks.

    Re: games with hamachi

Am not familiar with that game in particular, but you both need the game.
Hamachi just creates a network between your two computers, as though they were both in the same room next to one-another, with a cable between the two. It does not however do some sort of auto-copy mumbo jumbo

    Re: games with hamachi

yep both still need the game Hamachi only creates a LAN over the internet basicly you would be able to install some older games on both computers that dont require the disk to be in the drive to play and dont invole any ck key checking.

    Re: games with hamachi

    I use hamachi a lot.

Games I can confirm do work over it:

    Diablo 1 and 2
    Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
    Age of Empires 2
    Freelancer
Half-life 2: deathmatch (you need to setup aliases so that everyone is on the same ip range)
    Unreal Tournament: UT,UT2003, UT2004

but... yeah everyone needs a copy
