    BAFTA video game awards

Nice to see Race Driver: GRID picking up an award, well deserved i think - also good to see a couple of British titles in the mix. I think GTA IV was a bit of a disapointment, although thats not to say it was particularly a bad game, i think the playability was a little lacking due to the poor handling on most of the vehicles, for a game in which you spend most of the time controlling a vehicle this was a pretty major issue. Still the story was pretty good as with most GTA games, so i would of guessed it would pick up at least 1 award, especially considering the amount of categories it was entered into.

    Re: BAFTA video game awards

The handling on the cars and other things in GTA4 was perfect, completely spot on. Yes it was a little tricky to get used to at first, but this is simply because the cars do not handle like the n00bmobiles on San Andreas, turning on a sixpence.

On GTA4 they handle far more realistically, and after a few hours practice, a skilled played will have no problems.

First time I played through GTA4 I couldn't drive to save my life, now I can take handbrake corners at near top speed, dart between 2 lanes of traffic, etc. The handling on the police cars in GTA4 is perfect, nothing less.

As I said in the official HEXUS topic about this in the news forum, some good choices (Galaxy best game) some insane choices (Call of Duty 4 best story)

I dunno ghost The story and characters in Call of Duty 4 was pretty damn good....I wouldn't call it insane but it must have been close, seeing the competition any one of them could have taken it.
