Is anybody playing the above flight shooter game? And what do they think of it?
is it compatible with a Saitek Aviator Joystick?
Cheers

I tested the demo, didn't like it, the view in training really put me off, I was flying around in circles trying to shoot the bots down.. it was aweful, how can anyone fly like that?
Graphics are awesome through, really nice.

I played it for some arcade-style fun, but some of the things put it off, ie. even if you fly toward a target at afterburn, order your wingmen to attack it, and they fly forward 3 times faster than you to take it out!
This hot girl came over to myspace last night, she twittered my yahoo till I
googled all over her facebook. Ask Jeeves...
System 1: Intel i5-2500k OC STABLE @5.05ghz with a ThermaTake Frio (air power!), 8Gb 1600 (9-9-9-24) R3 Patriot G2 RAM, nVidia GTX980TI ;
System 2: HP N40L Microserver;
System 3: MSI 'Ghost Pro' laptop - 16Gb DDR4 RAM, nVidia 970M, i7-6700, 256GB PCIe SSD + 1TB HDD
System 4: Samsung TAB S 10.1
boy is it hard to control with a mouse and keyboard. I was all over the place... made a lot of my own 30 ft deep craters along the way.
Good arcade fun..improves as it develops too i think. Found controlling the planes easy.
Played the demo with k/board & mouse and was very hard to play. Ordered a 360 controller and got the full game. Like to play it in short bursts, otherwise it gets very boring and easy.
Prefer ON mode for well hidden ground targets, or I'll go OFF and climb to 10,000 ft and dive.
Dog fighting with MiG/ACEs and everything has to be done in OFF mode to get real enjoyement. Nothing like dodging SAM/AA fire, drift back and nail the baddies with MAA.
Need to find some good music to fly to though.
Looking to buy this myself. Looks cool!
What minimum spec will it play on as my pc is not State-Of -the- art!

Free Disk Space: 7GB

Recommended:
Processor: AMD Athlon64 X2 4000+ / Intel Core 2 Duo E6320

I'd recommend trying the demo - it'll give you a good indication whether or not your PC can handle it. Built in benchmarking in the options too![]()
Tried the demo, didn't particularly like it. What the hell is with the assistance off view? The scale is a bit off too, why are the planes the size of a tower block?
It might be worth getting from the bargin bin though, probably a couple of hours of play in it.
I bought the ps3 version of the game and I'd have to agree, it probably wasnt worth paying full retail price for it, and it's a pretty short game.
The only thing that really annoys me about the assistance off mode was that I always ended up going around in circles, I mean, I know that's kind of the point, but I'd end up spiraling towards the ground if I stayed in that mode for too long.
Also pretty messed up how your squad travels at the speed of light. :\
Other than all of that, I did love playing through the campaign and doing some online games.
For everything bad about it, it does let you do some awesome stuff, I was in MP once and had a guy flying above and behind me, dropped a flare and switched into assistance off mode, cut off my throttle and pulled back, done this tiny little flip while still moving forward, got 2 rockets in his face and blew him up, t'was beautiful![]()
