    Re: Your preferred gaming platform?

Like format above, I have a PC, Wii and 360 (Cant believe I waste that much money playing games) and when games are at their best, then its has to be the PC for me. Thats probably due to the fact that I love FPSs and controls married with graphics are best on PC for the games I play.

The Wii, is great for having non 'proper' gaming mates round for and also, when it gets a game right (Metroid Prime 3, Galaxy) then it gets it really right. But the 360 is there for games that dont make it to the PC (Fable 2, Halo 3) and for same room multiplayer goodness, which mostly means Pro Evo.

But if all 3 utilised their potential to the max, I'd love my PC the most!!!

    Re: Your preferred gaming platform?

I've always used a PC for gaming; never owned a console. I've borrowed consoles before, and played on mates consoles, but never really liked using them as the games I tend to prefer don't work well with the controllers.

PC here as well, have a 360 but its mainly used as a media player. Game wise I have been playing DoD for years and still enjoy a bit of fps goodness, but I maninly play Eve at the moment.

    Re: Your preferred gaming platform?

I really prefer my PS3. PC gaming has become too expensive to run anything on. You have to upgrade to get the better graphics etc. With a console, one off purchase which will do you for 4 years, and run sweet as with no hassle of upgrading. If you do have the money to keep spending out on a PC then go for it.

I personally still prefer mouse/keyboard over dual analogue though for FPS.

    Re: Your preferred gaming platform?

Glad this poll is multiple choice!

PC for RTS and games where I simply insist on having higher resolutions and/or keyboard/mouse input. 360/PSP for everything else, although I do have several games on multple platforms (GTA IV, Mass Effect, Burnout Paradise, etc). I like keeping my options open and, mostly, it doesn't really matter what platform a game is on - if I want to play it, I will
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

0iD: Plus weeing in it every now & again does it good
scaryjim: 10" is just a little large to hold comfortably in one hand, which makes it a lot harder to tap, swipe and generally interact with.

Nah... just do what I do, 360 on the TV and laptop to hand for breaks in gameplay

I use a PC for LAN gaming and a bit of MMORPG, a 360 for most gaming, and a PS2 for older games - both PS2 and 1.

I have also got a Master System and a Mega Drive, but they don't work

Ah dude, that’s unlucky. My old Mega Drive still works. Although the wire from the console to the TV is completely broke. It requires it to be at the perfect angle for me to get a picture at all. Really annoying when Sonic is nailing baddies and somebody knocks the wire Apart from that, it's all good - blowing-the-cartridges-good

    Re: Your preferred gaming platform?

Prefered? PC, the flexibility allows me to configure control schemes to how I play, and I've never had to worry about not having space for save files. I've also been playing fps online for years and see no reason to use another platform for this.

I do own a few consoles though mostly to get access to games and game types that don't normally make it to PC, and I get plenty of use out of them.

    Re: Your preferred gaming platform?

    PC, almost 100%

Guitar Hero on PS2, occasional driving game on PS2.
    Game Cube for quick fun-fix

Sair's got a Wii, use it occasionally, don't see it as much fun tbh, except boxing.

PC all the way. Would be quite happy with no consoles, but would miss Guitar Hero.

    Re: Your preferred gaming platform?

Well, finally got sick of having to upgrade quite often to be able to run latest titles so lately its been more PS3 and Xbox 360. At least I know that after putting the disc in it is going to run fine.

I still use my PC for LOTRO, Witcher and stuff i have, but it has taken a bit of a back seat lately. Also the wife uses it all the time and keeps messing my desk up to the point where I am sick of it. My keyboard as I type this has fag ash all over it, 3 cups on the desk, generally very untidy so its not nice sitting here gaming.

I accidentally only voted for PC, but for me it would be the PC, 360, PS1, PS2, Wii, and Master system. Pretty much all the gaming machines I've ever owned, and loved them all

It's something wrong with the wiring on mine too, can't remember which - I think it started off as the TV lead (same problem as yours), but I think the adapter just gave up too
