A hint that it may come out on the pc as well. doubt it but you never know. miracles do tend to happen but first and foremost will this game ever come out at all?

*If* it comes out for the PC, they better include Logitech G25 support!

    Re: Grand Tourismo 5(pc?)

I'm taking this with a pinch of salt, but if it does come out, wooo! We are big GT fans here.

But these guys are known for vapourware. I'm still waiting for GT to come out for the damn PSP. and since then they've bought the 3rd iteration of the PSP. By the time it comes out it will be on PSP 2. Apparently they still have that in the pipeline, to come out after GT5.

    This is an interesting read:

Hopefully it will come out, and it will be a lot better than the console versions!

why is that a good read its just linking to what Josh has already linked

I suspect that they are hinting at other Sony platforms, ie PS2, PSP. There is no way Sony will let this one out of their grasp.

Agreed. If they can whip up some anticipation from other platforms only to correct it later on then they might even get some additional console sales out of it.

If it is any better then the PS3 version it won't release for a long time.....the more likely scenario is that it will get a cheap and dirty port to PC.

As others have mentioned though......it's about freeking time that this was released on PS3, talking about other platforms - after this hideous chain of delays - is beyond a joke.

I hope they do, do this but i highly doubt they will.

But with them saying they may all it's doing is harming PS3 sales how i see it. I reckon people are far less likely to buy a PS3 if they think it may come out on PC.

^ I can agree with that, we've actually put off buying a PS3 - and I know there are plenty great games on it anyway, we've been waiting for GT5 to clinch the deal. And if it comes out on PC? hmm.

buying a ps3 will be cheaper then building/upgrading a pc capable of playing GT5

not many people have the priveledge of both and it wont be a surprise if todays graphics card will struggle with GT5 by the time that comes out.

i myself may need an upgrade to play it at 60fps .

If they're designing it to run on a 7 series geforce card then it should be able to run on todays PCs.
