Runs really well on my lappyI've only done the 10 min training thing at the start so far, which took about 2 mins. I was planning on having ago later on tonight, but I'll see what the queues are like.

A friend threw my an invite a couple of weeks back. Great for passing a couple of mins or two. The skill level is incredibly high. I'm fairly good and reigned supreme back in the day (high school lan games). But I pretty much get my ass handed to me here. Guess I have to brush up.

I guess it's because it's new and there a lot of people hammering it, hopefully the queues won't be has big when it goes into the finished game. Anyone know how long the open beta is planned for?

+1 for tried, waited patiently in queue for ages, gave up. I guess it was always ever going to be thus on launch day. Sat/Sun morning before America wakes up might be the best time.
One annoying thing is that once you get to the end of the queue (i did yesterday), you download and install the client, then you have to restart your browser and queue again.
Then when I got the end of the queue for a second time, the ActiveX component for the client crashed, then their website stopped working.
Hopefully will be a little more successful this morning
I went from 49k to 300k then all the way to 2k then back to 40k.
Finally got in at around 11pm last night, downloaded client, installed restarted and logged in.
Had a quick blast, nice and slick - might bring me back to my old days for fragging
