Says this in the My Games tab in Steam. 20 minutes later and it's still doing it, after two restarts.

Anyone else getting this?

I'll try opening it in offline mode, all I want is a quick game of TF2.

Delete/rename the clientregistry.blob in your steam folder.

You don't want the new TF2 update, seriously. No more working for achievements to get unlocks... you just randomly get weapons (even ones you already have!) I played as a sniper for 10 seconds and got Jarate. You will play as the pyro for a few hours and get 3 axtinguishers. It's ridiculous - takes all skill out of getting weapons.

There was very little skill sadly. As soon as the "achievement servers" started popping up, it made them pointless

Thanks Kal, seemed to work, I'll remember that trick in the future. TF2 is updating slowly though, barely breaking 50kps

The Achievements haven't been changed have they? Or do you mean the new Sniper achievements are too easy?

No, achievements are still the same for all classes. But instead of unlocking weapons after getting milestones (7 achievements, 15 achievements, 25 achievements etc) you randomly get weapons unlocked. So you could just be playing as a sniper and get the razorback for no reason whatsoever, then 5 minutes later you could get another razorback, then you could play for 100 hours and get nothing, then get another razorback. Completely flawed and rubbish system.
