So whos pre-ordered SF4 for the PC?

    As per title

I'm about to, once I find a fightstick under £60!

I'm not so sure about it or a normal joypad. If I buy the joypad I might want the fightstick, if I get the fightstick I might hate it!

Didn't even realise it was getting released for the PC, last beat 'em up game I played on the PC was an old Mortal Combat on my Pentium 2
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

Would have done, but got impatient, and bought a 360 to play it instead. Hopefully it will have a better lobby or matchmaking implementation on the PC, as it was a bit annoying on the console... But it will be a good laugh either way.

Oh and good luck finding that fightstick

I presume it will support 'any old' PC based arcade stick - I have an X Arcade but like jonathan I caved in and bought a 360 to play this instead of waiting for the PC version

Re: So whos pre-ordered SF4 for the PC?

I would've preordered by now but capcom tend to implement securom with their pc games which is a no no for me.

The latest I've heard from official channels is that it will be disc based which is acceptable but I rather wait for the steam version.

Even though the PC version will use a GFWL key there'll be no cross platform play with 360 players which I can understand from their point of view because of the potential abuse of macros etc.

Ah yes securom. But the steam version will have some ridiculous price on it compared to pre order from amazon (its £17.96 atm)

I too detest GFWL, but I'd rather have that then spend money for an xbox/ps3. And just the dark cloud of hate that surrounds securom and DRM is something I'd like to avoid.

Could someone refresh my memory as to what else securom does apart from install problems (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SecuROM) and activation issues?
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
