    Steering Wheel for PC

For months now, I have been using a very old ps2 steering wheel hooked up to my PC through a ps2-usb adaptor to play race driver GRID. Although this wheel has pedals it doesn't have any vibration or force feedback functions. For a while, I have been looking for a good wheel with pedals which has a force feedback function.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good one? I have a budget of about £50 (but i don't mind going a little over if its really worth it) from experience, I would much prefer a wheel with a clamp rather than suction pads. I really don't mind smaller unreputable brands because I know they can often be cheaper!

    Thanks in advance,

    Tom

For under £50 I highly recommend the Logitech formula force ex, bought mine for £35 from ebuyer and it is a brilliant wheel for the money and has force feedback.

I've been looking at buying a wheel myself. It seems the thing to do is avoid saitek. There's have terrible reviews, just check out the feedback left for them at play.com.

If you've got the money then everyone RAVES about the logitech G25.

Aside from that I've heard good things about the formula force ex and saitek 660.

    Re: Steering Wheel for PC

I'm trying to figure out if it's actually that good, or if everyone who buys one has to say that to mitigate the guilt of spending £150+ on a controller

    Re: Steering Wheel for PC

I've just bought the Thrustmaster F430 wheel. Very nice, and a week or two ago was £60 from Amazon.

    Check it out...
