    PC controllers

    Hey guys,

I'm looking for a new PC controller in anticipation for street fighter 4. I currently have a Logitech rumblepad 2 which is fine but it has an awful d-pad on it. I was wandering what controller people would recommend which have a good d-pad for fighting games?

I was thinking about getting the wireless Xbox 360 windows controller but is the d-pad on that any good?

Also I've seen that Mad Catz made special street fighter controllers for the Xbox 360 & ps3 and was wandering if one of those would work on the PC? I know that the 360 is wired usb and the PS3 has a usb dongle so can any console owners confirm that they work on the PC?

    Thanks,
    Guppy.

    Re: PC controllers

The d-pad on the xbox 360 is terrible. Honestly, it's just a terrible d-pad and isn't much fun to play SF4 with. It will do I guess, but there's better alternatives out there. I would stay clear of using it for any games with rely heavily on the d-pad .

Yeah I seem to be hearing that around the net. Any alternatives or do you know if those mad catz fight pads would work?

I can't personally confirm, but Google says yes. I had a quick look at some links and it seems like it's mainly a case of installing a driver.
