Well it seems that Blood Bowl has been released over the last week ( http://bloodbowl.nexway.com/index2.h...671877&Cur=826 ) and I was really looking forward to it, until I saw the price, it's even worse than steam prices for the latest and greatest.
£39.99 for a digital download that you can only download once, that's right, once, you lose it you need to put in a request to Games Workshop/Cyanide.
I am wondering if they have let this one out quietly as they knew they would get bad reviews or something, but so far it seems only metascore is the only one to get their hands on it and give it a 79 score with users rating it as 9.0 overall.
Does anyone on this forum have it?????
If so is it really worth the £40 price tag for a game that apparently has no point playing the real time mode in as the game rules don't work with it so left with the turn based (as the board game is which I loved as a kid) and the multi player barely works from reports on Games Workshop's own forums.
Really just wanting to know if anyone has it and would recommend it or is nostalgia taking over here and should wait till the price comes down massively. From what I can see it's due on PC (out now) Xbox 360, PS3, DS etc Wondering if it would be better to wait for a DS version in all honesty as using the 360 for a turn based game when load times on the PC are shocking is worth it.
If anyone can show vid's of the in-game or them actually playing it and give a review on it I would be grateful to say the least.
Cheers
Fox
