Singularity release pushed out of 2009 by Modern Warfare 2

Due to the growing excitement towards Modern Warfare 2 Raven’s new sci-fi first person action title Singularity has had a change of release date. Singularity was expected to have been released some time late in 2009, however it has now been pushed back until the first quarter of 2010.

This is a smart move by Raven as Modern Warfare 2 is expected to dominate following the success of Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare and Call Of Duty 5 World At War.

Perhaps, but I would disagree myself and would have also done the move too if I were them. COD has established such a fanbase that even if a game is good, it's shadowed entirely by the release of COD:MW2... then it just won't get the attention a new and upcoming game needs.

+1 and looks to looks to be a very very good game - i shall be getting it that's for sure
