This free edition of MechWarrior4 has been introduced, as it is BattleTech’s 25th anniversary and MekTek’s 10th anniversary. This is such a great opportunity for fans of BattleTech to re-discover what they have been missing with MechWarrior and what better way than to offer MechWarrior4 for free.

The MechWarrior community has been saying just how happy they are with the MekTek team, as they are now taking a leadership role in the development of the online MechWarrior communities.

It's nice to see MekTek still going. I used to help test some of their stuff back in the M3/4 days.

I think I preferred M3 due to the sheer speed of it, but both were very fun

Excellent news, I never bought MW4 despite liking the demo.

Re: MechWarrior 4 To Be Re-Released For Free

Awesome. MW4 was a bit flashy and bright compared to MW3's grittiness, but I loved them both

Mech deathmatches with people bringing wierd weapon loadouts into the mix was always good fun too.
