PC Games With Built In Comms And 360 Gamepad Support?

I know the real solution is a game console but I cannot afford one so I am making do with my PC. What I would like to know is what PC games there are with built in voice comms and 360 gamepad support built in (no config required). I can't be bothered having to start external apps like teamspeak to get voice comms and neither can I be bothered to configure controllers.

    Any help much appreciated.

Hmmzz specifically multiplayer? or single player as well. I know both left for dead/deadspace make full use of the Xbox 360 controller as my cousin plays both using it. Their is also the last remnent which is a xbox port so works wonderfully with the Xbox 360 controller, i think GTA4 also works as well.

No I meant multiplayer. Built in voice comms wouldn't be much use for single player

The latter BF series (BF2, BF2142) all have in game comms and support the 360 controller with a bit of tweaking/trial and error.

TF2 also has in game comms, I haven't attempted to play it with the 360 controller though.

Re: PC Games With Built In Comms And 360 Gamepad Support?

Well, any title that is a Games for Windows title will have full 360 pad support, though for mutli and voice comms, then it'll depend. Have a look through...

Tbh - most games will use the 360 pad, what with the increasing amount of cross platform titles. Comms is slightly different, as I guess unlike LIVE, there isnt a specific server structure to route VOIP thorugh, hence why you get the need for 3rd party apps...

Re: PC Games With Built In Comms And 360 Gamepad Support?

CoD(5) World at War has both comms built in, and Games for Windows on the box.

    Comms work well too
but the chanes of someone with a 360 controller being as accurate as a bloke with a mouse and keyboard is .....unlikely.

Re: PC Games With Built In Comms And 360 Gamepad Support?

Alot of games on pc have built in coms but you can just use skype/ventrillo as its better . Same with 360 controllers, mostly any game with windows for live branding supports it but tbh if your using it for multiplayer then you will fail, aiming is so much slower and just worse on a controller(try playing CSS!).

Re: PC Games With Built In Comms And 360 Gamepad Support?

I have a Xbox 360 joypad for PC, games I can confirm have support and that I have tested it with:

    Fallout 3
GTAIV - has in game coms though I've not tried it
Left4Dead - has in game coms that are voice activated or hotkeys
