looks like they've gone for the battlefield approach rather than hardcore military sim. i think it could be a lot of fun, hopefully it'll bring in more people than ARMA does.

what does concern me though it a lot of the early screenshots were pieces of art not actual screenshots of the game, some of their videos aswell have been touched up which suggests that they might have a weak product

Battlefield approach? Looks like more of a sim to me, especially the hardcore mode.

I'm a hell of a lot moister over this then I am over Modern Warfare 2. I hope they don't stray from the realism aspects of the first one, and of ArmA. Being a console gamer, there isn't any choice of realistic shooters, and it'll be nice to have something a little different.

Shame its been crippled by the constraints on multiplayer, 4v4 for consoles (dont laugh) and then 16v16 for PC.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

    Re: Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

When i heard this was going to be on consoles i kinda thought what's the point. It's trying to compete with ArmA 2 but can't if it's going on consoles. If i didn't have a PC it'd certainly be worth it but if i have ArmA 2 why would i buy a game that isn't quite as good?
I'll certainly keep an eye in this though and have a good read of the reviews just in case.
