Oh, did you know there are some fan made levels and adventures knocking about? (Super too).

Must try that Demon Souls game you keep mentioning when i can find somewhere that sells it at a good price

Agree 100% with Chrism, best game I have ever played is Ocarina of Time on the ole N64. It has one of the best stories in a computer game. I'm actually currently helping my sister through her 2nd replay of it on the Gamecube, and she hardly plays any games at all.

Tough choice, but I would go with TES IV: Oblivion simply because of it's immersiveness and the fact that I STILL find new things while exploring Cyrodiil.

As for best game ever...oo so many.. But i will settle on Quake 3 ! The only game to leave me in a shaking, quivering, adrenaline pumped mess But then that's just Lan and multiplayer madness ...gonna have to think a bit more bout single player.

last Ninja 2 on the C64, loved every bit of and and lost count how many times I went through it. Lately though loving GRAW 2 (Got it on PS3 and 360) and even though its only just come out Arkham Asylum is amazing.

Also love Gears of War 1&2

Re: Favourite game of all time

Mafia as my all-time favourite, cannot wait for the second one, glad they aren't rushing it out.

HL2 comes a close second, replay value is good and it has a great modding community.

Re: Favourite game of all time

I forgot about Mafia, I put that one above LN2. Awesome game with one of the best stories and script ever. Still looks pretty damned good today as it did when it was released.

Cant wait for the second one myself, hopefully it will be more of the same.

Elite on the old BBC Micro. And I learned binary, hex, and assembler (after completing the game) by hacking the saved game file!

These days I'm partial to a bit of Civ 4 for the whole global domination trip

Apparently is selling like crazy, been a few more mainsteam reviews around so gaining more notice, site now says.......

Due to extremely high demand, our current allotment of Demon's Souls (AS) has been sold out and is on back order. Our next allotment will arrive within the next 2-4 weeks. Orders will be shipped out on a first-come, first-served basis. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Would be interesting to know unit sales for this game, seems demand is outstripping supply which is probably why Atlus are planning a US release for October. Still cant believe there is no news of a EU release upcoming yet, crazy - would sell bucket loads.

Final Fantasy 7 on original PS. Great story, combat, visuals (at the time), music, longevity and replayabilty. This is the game that hooked me on RPG's and prob gaming in general.

Closely followed by Pro Evo and Halo
