Drifting in GRID - tips please

Recently bought Race Driver GRID in a sale (PC version) and am enjoying it so far. However I can't get the hang of drifting at all - I either seem to spin or not slide at all!

Anyone got any tips for a noob? I'm using a G25 wheel if that makes a difference.

    Cheers!

Essentially turn off all the driving aids and then hammer that handbrake into the corner then a bit of practice to get the right amount of power and steering. Hard to explain really, hand brake into the corner once starting to go sideways get the steering sorted and a constant (but not full throttle) and the car should drift for you.

Also learn to use the manual gear change controls, it means although you will corner slower it will be easier to control the slide

Yeah manual gearing is essential. Drop the gear, tap the handbrake get it sliding then get that steering sorted and drift when leaving the corner slap it up into the next gear and away you go. Should of mentioned this, thanks for the head up Finlay
