    Monopoly City Streets

Anyone able to get on this? There's been lots of hype about it, haven't seen a lot on here through, but have been trying to access the site and can't get anywhere, lol...

    Must be popular!

Anyone on it? Playing it? Like it? Thoughts?

I wasn't even aware of it until now. It sounds like it could be fun, but I'm not sure whether it would be for me.

    Re: Monopoly City Streets

Made two accounts cause I'll be sharing them with my bro.

One account has the 3 major streets in my City, and one high street. (only one tower)

The other has a 2 Bridges and a street connected to it, 3 buildings on the bridges so far.

    Re: Monopoly City Streets

It's terribly laggy and slow, but I'm not sure of the longetivity of it as there's not too much to do at the moment. Will see how it goes.

Have 3 roads and about 10 houses so far near where I work.

It sucks big time though, but I understand why.

Have an account worth nearly $17million at the moment, so will be gutted that it will be removed. But the amount of cheating is clearly visable, and is very easy to do.

    1) Make two accounts
    2) But a street for $100,000
    3) Log into other account, make an offer on the street for $3,000,000
    4) Log into main account, accept.
    5) With $6million, make another account, buy a small road, then buy it from the new account for $6million, you now have $9m.

You're already worth $9million in minutes, doing nothing.

Now I understand the game more, I'll buy a lot more sensibly, but I don't know how they are going to stop the cheating, unless they stop the limit you can offer on a street but 1.5x, but again, you can still cheat. Email will be brought it imo.

I managed to buy a few streets just now and create an account but it is slooooow to respond to anything I click on or do. Liking the look of the game so far though!

Indeed, you will have to actually create user with a email and reply to activate your account this time, although of course this could still be open to abuse (nothing to stop someone creating multiple accounts on different emails)

Some of the cheating was just so obvious when you see how much people have made already, just have to see how it goes.... treat until midweek as strategy practice for now and check out the streets i reckon and hope you can get them asap on reset

    Re: Monopoly City Streets

Buddy of mine showed me this the other day, after he bought all the streets around me lol. I like it. Keep getting server errors but it's pretty fun. Rent needs to come more often or something though. Oh and if you have problems I suggest you visit the Monopoly City Streets Board it's pretty awesome

    Re: Monopoly City Streets

The tax system seems to help keep cheaters at bay to a certain extent. I found an explanation of it here:
    forum.mcsforum.net/new-tax-regime-t3.html

as always though I'm sure someone will get around it

    Re: Monopoly City Streets

I logged in at open this morning after reset, amazing the amount of streets already snapped up around London. I managed to get a couple near work in the square mile and some near home. Im not so sure about the cheating, would of thought they would at least of done email sign ups at the very least. Spose the tax system does help somewhat.

    Re: Monopoly City Streets

Well I lost my portfolio yesterday, sucked but oh well, worked hard for that. Bye $86million

They are total arses too, they said between 12 - 24 hours downtime, but was up well before that ffs, not even 8 hours, so thanks a lot for letting idiots take the streets I worked hard for at the beginning. Oh well found a big street in my town that is actually invisible! And was $1.3m.

Well expand to Egypt in my next street so it won't get attacked etc.
