No more accurate than the last date they gave. Blizzard haven't set a release date yet.
Blizzard always delay the release date.
Just waiting~
It's too long whatever the date is![]()

The only mention from a half-credible source (but non official, and vague) is here: http://investor.activision.com/relea...leaseid=401548
I did say vague. I am pretty sure it was previously thought to be released at the end of the year.Blizzard Entertainment has moved the anticipated release date of StarCraft II to the first half of 2010 to coincide with the relaunch of its upgraded Battle.net® online -gaming service.
Blizzard never gives any real dates.
looking forward to this but i have high expectations.
The correct answer is "Soon™"
Starcraft 2 is going to be a trilogy, if like me you plan to play this game to advance the story of the original, you will have to wait a further two years for the proceeding campaigns due to Blizzards "one game a year" stance. Blizzard say that Starcraft 2 is "massive" in scope but I remain skeptical.
hmm they've decided to take the 'Apple' approche to selling software?
give it peicemeal bit by bit because they know the fan boys won't realise we will have ended up paying £100+ for the sodding game
god damnit.

agreed but I just want to play multiplayer but it better be good or else I am sticking with SC1.
Depending on how you wish to play the game you may be disappointed, it's obvious to me and many others from watching all the battle reports and preview videos that SC2 multiplayer is going to be a pile of fail (at least for the serious/professional gamers)
The 3D clunkiness and inherently low required APM (akin to WC3) means that it's really only going to be a game you play online for "fun" nothing wrong with that but, I fully expect to see a DOTA style map crop up for this game. SC1 is not going anywhere, the South Koreans will certainly make sure of that.

I am gonna give Blizzard the benefit of the doubt.
I also watched the videos. I didn't like the graphics at all but some new features they did was quite good. There were lots of other games within SC1 anyways - that doesn't make the game bad.
Well it all depends on if South Koreans will play SC1 or SC2. If they start playing SC2, SC1 will be gone.
