Haven't had a chance to try it out but I've heard some good things. If anyone wants to download it there are some good links here

Didn't really like last years version, but they've actually made a few changes and I quite like this one.
Animations are much better, the way players strike the ball and run with it is much better.
In previous versions decent players would often perform quite poorly and good dribblers wouldn't necessarily do that. In this version when i moved the difficulty rating up Messi and Henry played how you would expect them too and it was quite something to see from a PES game where all the players used to seem quite predictable.
Might just have to buy this.
played a game there, a big improvement on the last two years joke releases, still don't think it matches FIFA 09 let alone the small sample of FIFA 10.
If however I only owned a PC I reckon it would be PES 2010 for me, the PC version of FIFA is ballacks.
"The less you eat, drink and buy books; the less you go to the theatre, the dance hall, the public house; the less you think, love, theorise, sing, paint, fence, etc., the more you save – the greater becomes your treasure which neither moths nor rust will devour – your capital. The less you are, the less you express your own life, the more you have, the greater is your alienated life, the greater is the store of your estranged being." Karl Marx
I've always preferred PES, but, I'm just not feeling it compared to FIFA 10![]()
Gamertag - Russonf (xbox and ps3)
What an absolute **** game it is, so shocking.
Is like comparing who to go out on a date:
PES10: Your Mum
FIFA10: Megan Fox
I'm a PC gamer and FIFA has always been utter dross on that platform. In days gone by I used to play PES on PS2 and even on 64 when it was ISS64! I've always preferred the gameplay to FIFA (I also used to play some of the older FIFAs aswell). However PES2008 was a complete nadir for the series, it seemed to take about ten steps backwards. Last years outing was passable but still poor. PES6 with patches and chant packs and FIFA commentary was THE BEST FOOTBALL GAME of all time in my opinion. The editing community of PES really makes it a more attractive proposition on the PC than on a console.
HAving played this years demo through quite a few times now I'm pleasantly surprised and genuinely hopeful for the release next month. Graphics look amazing, control seems more refined, AI of both opponents and your own team-mates seem vastly improved. Still seems a bit clunky on the ball but it always seems to on the demo version. Added to that, I've read from a reliable source that Champions League license will now be intergrated into the masterleague (hoorah! If not bloody obvious!) AND there'll be REAL currency in the ML. If Konami also manage to make more than four leagues available in the ML it will definately make it the best of the series bar none. I'm waiting with bated breath.
I've played two matches and so far i am really liking this i think i will play a few more matches! lol, huge improvement from 2008 and much better then 2009, the game feels different, not sure what changes they made, but the gameplay feels much more fluid more so then fifa10, and ive noticed the ball is like an entity of its own it feels really different to fifa10 and on the topic of fifa 2010 seems much the same but with some nice improvement ai is much better and player movements and few other things have improved, ive never played fifa on a console so dont know how it differs (apart reading off reviews).
If anyones interested I've got a utility which allows you to extend the time of the game on the demo. 5 mins really isnt enough to get into a match.

Downloaded both FIFA and PES for the PS3, don't think PES is a patch on FIFA at the moment.
Having said that I haven't played a football game for a long time - I think the last one I played extensively was World Cup 2002 for the PC. I bought FIFA 2004 or 2005 or something most recently, can't remember which year, but just took it straight back to the shop because I thought it was rubbish. This year's FIFA seems a lot closer to the mark for me.
No problem, read the included instructions, really rather straightforward. Here's the link. Don't forget to 'thank' me haha

cheers, really liking this game, i think it might be my preferred football sim for the pc this year, its more enjoyable to play then fifa, although i havent got used to the controls, would be nice if they could add 360 movement like on the ne fifa
I'm still finding it a bit too 'arcadey' for my tastes, don't think it quite matches up to FIFA on the consoles, but seen as I don't own one I don't have a choice in the matter anyway! To be fair though, it is a MASSIVE improvement in pretty much every department (that you can access at least) compared to '09.
Nope, FIFA 10 is the winner for me.
