Batman: AA - what does everyone think?

So, I finally got my copy of AA on PC after waiting a week for it from play.com and I've played upto 7% and I think it's pretty good and the graphics are very impressive and runs maxed out on my system with no noticeable stutters. What does everyone else think/anyone completed it yet?

Completed it on xbox and thought it was a really good game although the ending was a major let down in my and a lot of peoples opinion.

    Great game though

Completed everything game wise, expect the challenges (some of the Extreme is near impossible!). I thought it was a perfect game. Yes the graphics were amazing, but the gameplay element is far superior to anything I have seen, heard of or played.

    10/10 for me.

I'm up to the second boss fight (I think), the one where you go down the lift. Does it get spooky at all - it says moderate horror on the rating but I didn't find the 'spooky' bit very scary at all...

Doesn't get spooky at all or scary. Especially with Detective mode on all the time.

It's when you find you can't use Detective mode that things start to get interesting

There are some moments I jumped at but nothing as scary as bioshock was imo.

    The scarecrow parts are immense.

Bioshock was scary as ****. I remember having to play in board daylight with that game. The sound effects on that game were immense!

Awsome game! Like Singh, I clocked everything (up to around 90%) but just couldnt finish some of the challenges, as some of them are HARD! Will be replaying it soon. Loved doing the riddler challenges, although I'd like to be able to start a new game with them all done and all the 'level up' stuff already owned, as I now know where they are and it'll be a bit boring going back and getting them all again!

I've got all the riddler trophies, tapes, maps, riddles, and all the other little stuff dotted around the game. It's just those pesky challenges!

This currently my game of the moment. Just beat Poison Ivy and now I'm off to the Joker Party. I'm loving it, though it's one for a full cinema system turned up LOUD. The score is brilliant, really sets the mood.

Same, I just CANNOT '3 bat' most of the extreme ones. Getting a perfect flow on the normal ones is hard enough, and you pretty much NEED that and the Dark Knight bonus!

I swear the game bugged on the fourth rounds of each fighting challenge. I go to counter and it does nothing and I get hit. Thus destorying my perfect knight bonus. I can usually get up to round 4 without getting hit. But it is a damn bug I tell you.

Easiest one to get the free/perfect flow is Rumble in the Jungle. Managed to get a x31 combo on that challenge :smashin:

I like to mix it up with the BatClaw (brilliant for nasty stabbers and stunners) and quick tap TripleBatarang.

Re: Batman: AA - what does everyone think?

great game - I was impressed by how different it was playing with the physx stuff turned on (i played a fair bit before i realised there was a patch) although it's still just scenery. I felt they could of made it a little less linear in places though - it seemed in parts to be sandbox and then in others on the rails.
