    buying a dummy PS3 console

    Hi,

    Im planning a prank on my friend and trying to get hold of a dummy ps3. Any ideas where I can get one from?

    Well, eBay would be the most obvious place to start. I doubt it would be much for a broken ps3.

    Something like that perhaps? Fill it with newspaper and put some weights in the middle (so it doesn't sound hollow and has some weight to it).

    Actually, I think it would be fairly funny if you made a replica from cardboard and sticky tape and black paint.

    P-p-p-powerbook anyone?

    About 8 years ago, we were building a few top-spec servers at work based on Dual Xeon CPUs. I was chatting to someone about it online and joked that I'd sell him a Xeon CPU for £5. He believed me. I then took the mickey out of him.

    He thought nothing more of it...

    ...until he received a package from me, containing a 486 CPU with "486" scribbled out, and "Zeon" written in sharpie marker on the top.
