3rd Person mode in Modern Warfare 2

    http://www.gamersthrone.com/forum/s4...fare-2-a-24875

Gaming sites around the internet are reporting about the leaked MW2 video showing a 3rd person mode. Even Robert Bowling (FourZeroTwo) has tweeted "Just an FYI, if you're wanting a spoiler free and pure Modern Warfare 2 experience, now would be a good time for a media blackout."

I don't know what the people at Infinity Ward are thinking, first no dedicated servers and now a 3rd person mode!?

Re: 3rd Person mode in Modern Warfare 2

seems like a great idea to me, fps make a lot of people feel sick, where as 3rd person games dont.

My girlfriend cant play far cry2/cod 4 etc, but loves gears 2/gta 4.

hey it will help some and most will ignore it but that is ok.
wonder if there will be some advantage in the wider peripheral view, or they might compensate that.

Well from what I understand I think the modes are going to be separate. So you either play normal FPS or go into a 3rd person game mode so that the playing field is level for all.

    @Yosh
Yeah but GoW is only 2 player co-op and I think 4v4 competitive, so its not exactly at the amount of players you see on CoD.

That'll be why it sold so well on PCs then... oh wait, nevermind.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

So what is COD then? Cause i've read no confirmation on size, but i would assume it will be the same 4v4? / 6v6? / 8v8 seems a bit much for hosted from players connection.

4v4 is not even enough for a console game, haloIII and COD allows for more than that and iv played with more many times, but for a pc game is an utter joke, bad bad bad.

I don't think there's been anything official but speculation seems to suggest around 10v10, so max players of 20. But that's just speculation so I guess we won't find out for sure until they announce it or until the game comes out.

Reading the news about this game over the past few weeks and I'm convinced someone is trying to kill this series off for the PC platform. No dedi servers, no mods, and now 3rd person view... on a FPS...?

    Its not an FPS
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
