Anyone have problems with the magnum ammo not being very magnumy?
I think I saw a whisper on the battlefield forums about there being a bug where it doesnt work for certain players but just wondered if anyone else had experienced it?
Yesterday I had the failed to connect to EA issue again, bullets not registering even though I am at point blank range and last night it decided I was going to be rank 1 again instead of 6 xD Logged off came back 20 minutes later and it now says I am rank 5.
So far I am playing on a grand total of two servers that I can get working from the favs list. Found a few other servers that were decent but after 10 minutes of waiting for them to be added to my favs list I gave up.
MP side of things drastically needs a patch or two but I guess we will be waiting a little while for the PC as the EA Forums a DICE member of staff made comment to the PS3 version getting the most attention currently.
Slowly finding myself going back to CoD MW1 and MW2 as they work and I can get games within seconds

I got my levels back after emailing EA/DICE so that is all good but now getting the Can't connect to EA again xD
I gather the PC patch they mentioned in that blog post hasn't gone live as yet?

It should auto-update, unless your running it through steam where i assume steam patches it instead.

No it's the DVD version (£10 cheaper !). I haven't seen any 'updating, please wait' messages. Any way of telling ?

When you fire it up (the game) it comes up with the splash box "retrieving version information" then it should say a new version is available do you want to download then it should start downloading once you click yes. The download is shown in the same splash box via a progress bar at the bottom.
Maybe try running it as admin instead - always worth a shot!
