Yeah, it is being returned to pre-patch levels. It isn't being nerfed further than that before.

Question Re: Battlefield Bad Company 2

I just got this game recently and have started dipping my toe. I've only racked up 6 hours or so but it's a real step on from BF2. I'm loving the way you can get multiple unlocks per round

Forgive me for not reading 38 pages of posts but could someone point me at a graphics setup guide for ATI cards? I've seen a few tips on the official EA forums but the best guide was aimed at Nvidia cards.

The game's running pretty smoothly at around 50-60 fps with high details and textures on my 512MB 4850 but I just know I'll have to trade off between detail and AA settings. I'm only using a 1680x1050 resolution display so the 4850 might just be enough.

Will I see any improvement if I'm successful in unlocking the 4th core of my Athlon II X3 425? Task manager shows all three cores running about 80-95% while in-game (but not flat-lining). It might be that I'm very slightly graphics bound. The other option is to bump the speed up a bit for more headroom but I haven't had any slowdowns or jerky game-play yet.

    What's the text chat key...
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

Your 4850 should run the game nicely and threee core should be enough. I can get around 100fps by turning down a few things. Try the amd tweakguide here: http://www.tweakguides.com/ATICAT_1.html

By the end of tomorrow (which is TODAY) we will have something to tell you regarding the release date of the patch.
Kalms is going to do some work before we can discuss our solution but we may roll back one of the changes so we can get the current changelog out and work on that one remaining issue after.

That will allow you to get most of the fixes and features which you have been waiting for including access to Map Pack #3.

i remember playing BFV great game best one out of the BF series, anyhow iam about to give up playing BFBC2 and cod MW2 each having their own seperate issues, BFBC2 high ping of 400 on uk servers, when i get low pings on bf2 and other games.
It just feels like they have no idea what they are doing now with pc games, bring back the old coders.

Opposed to running round with the Saiga ?
