    Re: Fm 2010

Patch 1 is out too, though most will know this if they're getting it on day 1.

It's a lot more polished than 2009, which I really liked already, and 99% of the addon graphics (kits, logos, faces, etc) work by simply copying the old folder across, but I don't like the new interface. I don't mind the skin so much (though I'll grab the new Steklo one as soon as it's released) but I really don't like how a lot of things require an extra click or move to get somewhere - right-clicking a player (or multiple players) to move them to a different training routine for example.

The new tactics system is brilliant. It's much easier to design a tactic exactly how you want it, and you can go much deeper into them if you want, and it transfers to the pitch too.

Signing players is a little more difficult, especially the player contract negotiations (players actually want signing on fees now), and top teams look to buy young players for the future too, which is annoying for me (it's something I tend to do, and now I have competition ).

The 3D engine has vastly improved. It was let down in 2009 by a lack of animations, but it's much more fluid in 2010.

The editor is fantastic too. I'm not going to be adding new leagues and cups as you can do now, but for tweaking players and staff it's wonderful. Needed to make Ferdinand a bit worse - apparently he's Man U's best player..... oh dear.

Overall it's brilliant. Just not liking the new interface too much.

I'm still getting used to the new interface but I'm liking it a lot so far.

Just trying to stay away from it atm because I've got an essay due in on Monday!

I had it on pre-order, but have barely even thought about it because I've got more than enough things to keep me occupied at the moment. I'd better find out what's going on

I'll need an industrial strength keyboard to play this game. My eclipse 2 won't take much more from the 09 season

    Re: Fm 2010

I'm becoming very frustrated with tactics... i played the same team twice in the Champions league and won 3-0 away and lost 1-0 at home :|
