    Dragon age - will a laptop run this?

    mine runs eq2 and wow, its an acer aspire 7730, the spec is

    Dont think so. Your specs are mostly fine but the intel intergrated graphics is probably where you will get problems, games dont like it

    I think youre downfall is going to be the graphics chip on that lappy. Mine is similar spec but has a basic Radeon in it and can run it in 800x600 medium detail from what I can make out from specs. Will let you know when I get it

    I would have said the same, but then the 'Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset with integrated 3D graphics, featuring Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD' looks quite capable. It supports DX10 after all.

    No, it's not capable at all. That's a terrible graphics chip and won't be able to play DA:O.

    im still unsure, it runs eq2, wow and sims 3 perfectly, also the downloadable character creator from dragon age

    Eq2, wow and sim3 are nothing to do with dragon age so ignore them, but the character creator is a slightly better sign, although it's not using the full in game engine so again I'd say it's not much of an indicator. It'd say it still won't run the game properly.
