    Specs in sig...

AthlonXP 3000+ rig plays Far Cry @ 1280x1024 with "High" quality sound (5.1), "Very High" graphics settings across the board and medium AA.

Not really tested the maximum potential of my P4 rig, but I've run it briefly @ 1280x1024 with "Medium" quality sound (stereo), "Medium" graphics settings across the board except water (Very High) and shadows (High) - no AA - and that ran perfectly fine.

Shadows are a must for this game IMO - being able to spot enemies coming or hiding by the shadows they cast is just too cool
~ I have CDO. It's like OCD except the letters are in alphabetical order, as they should be. ~

    CPU: AMD Athlon 3200+
Graphics Card: Radeon 9800XT 'Ultimate' (That's an XT with a Zalman ZM80-C Heatpipe system and 80mm fan bolted on to it, in place of the stock cooling.)
    Memory: 1024mb of Crucial DDR400 at 11\2\2\2.5
Cooling: The Zalman on the GPU, a Volcano 12 Extreme on the CPU.

Performance: Just clicked 'High Spec' in the options, then changed the envioroment and water to their highest setting (Very High and Ultra High), and it runs great. Slight delay when you fire a new weapon for the first time, but apart from that, nice and smooth.
