Command & Conquer 4 and Greek Conquerors

After looking through the units of the upcoming Command & Conquer 4, I noticed that the most powerful ground unit of the GDI arsenal is named after the Greek conqueror Alexander the Great, who conquered most of the known world of his time.

There is even the Greek state flag on the side and interestingly the “19th Armored Division” (marked just under the GDI logo), is an actual Mobile Artillery Unit Division in Greece that still guards the Greek frontiers to this day!

    That is cool!

that looks like a Mammoth mark 3 (very similar to the mk2 version). Sounds cool that they actually added a name for a reason! Especially for greeks as they are awesome .

However, Alexander the Great was known for his horse riding skills, while fighting along and commanding his cavalry (the fastest unit of his time) and not as a chariot or battle elephant rider/commander (the heavier fighting units)
So, this immense war Mech, is obviously a reference to the shear might and brute force of his unstoppable army overall.

Re: Command & Conquer 4 and Greek Conquerors

Yeh it resembles the Mammoth mark 2 so much, armed with AA/Land missiles + what would appear to be 2 rail guns or something on the sides And then theres the addition of 2 machine guns at the front and sides.

I really cant wait for C&C 4, am a huge fan of the whole series and am itching to play a newer version of it!.
